Another Beautiful Day for Singing in an Underpass

Another fun singing day on Sunday, November 18th. This underpass is on CU’s campus near Fiske Planetarium. The characteristics that make this a good underpass for ChoirPants singing are:

1. It’s nice and wide
2. It has clear lines of sight, i.e. straight entrances, on both ends
3. Which means we won’t have any bicycle vs. songsters crashes or injuries
4. And the acoustics are awesome, but they’re always awesome in the local bicycle/pedestrian underpasses

 

New Underpass Celebration

The spectacular new underpass under Broadway is done, and we are honored to sing at the grand opening celebration this coming Friday, September 21, at 1:30pm. We’ll sing just a few song between 1:30-1:45pm. You’re invited!

Yay for Bike to Work Day in Boulder! We sang at the Pedal to Properties and Dish Gourmet breakfast stations, which were awesome! And we were happy that the Flagstaff Fire was less smoky this morning.

Sing, sing a song, for anyone who goes by

Nice day to sing songs for the bicycle riders, pedestrians, skate boarders, stroller pushers, and unicyclists! We sang along the Bear Creek Bike Path, just under Martin Drive. And we had some yummy melon afterwards.

Circle Boulder by Bicycle – B360 and B180

The B-360 and B-180 rides are on Sunday, June 3, 2012. We’ll be singing in an underpass from about 3-4pm along the B-180 ride. Which underpass? Well it’s the one in Martin Acres, just under Martin Dr. See the map here. Happy harmonies to everyone!

What nice harmonies in this underpass! It’s on the CU Boulder campus, near Fiske Planetarium. Hmmm, maybe we should sing there for the partial solar eclipse this coming Sunday, May 20. Just thinking out loud here….
